The Mendip Hills are in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Stretching eastward from the Bristol Channel, the imposing 300m ridge of the Mendips rises, like a rampart above the Somerset Levels.
Blagdon is ideally placed for day trips and visits to nearby Bath, Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury and the popular seaside towns of Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon. We are ideally situated within a 15 minute journey to Bristol International Airport.
Nearby activities include fishing on the famous Blagdon and Chew Valley lakes, hill walking, pot-holing, climbing, pony trekking and foraging with local guides. The neighbouring village of Butcombe hosts Aldwick Court Vineyard where tours and sampling can be arranged.
